Couchmans has been in business providing electrical solutions to homes, businesses and factories since 1953.
The company was founded by John Couchman and has been one of the leading providers in Electrical and Telecommunication services for over 58 years. In April 2011 the business was sold to Mark Nixon and Carla Christian and rebranded as Couchmans Electrical.
Couchmans Electrical is proud to offer top quality electrical and phone/data services to the greater Manawatu area. We pride ourselves on same day service, turning up on time, and completing workmanship to the highest standards.

In addition to the above, we are the only electrical company in the greater Manawatu area that works for all the major power companies. This contract allows us to replace electricity power meters, carry out fault repairs and complete disconnections and reconnections of power.
We have recently been awarded a contract to replace power meters in this area with the new Advanced Meters. This contract involves visiting over 18,000 homes and businesses over the next 18 months.
